National Author’s Day
November 1st when author’s around the globe are celebrated. These individuals put fingers to keyboards. While others took for pen to paper. Either way the wrote and crafted a message for their readers. This year I joined the ranks and now I claim author in my bio.
Why Do You Write a Book?
If you are like me you write because you see a need. A need to share a voice that is silent. The voice excluded from books about aging in place has been that of the older adult. Most especially when it comes to driving and staying safely behind the wheel. Articles are often take the approach of talking about the older driver. Few writers approach the topic as an older driver.
Choosing To Write
I chose to write and empower the aging driver. For one simple reason if you are getting older you have done something right. You made choices to get you where you are today. Whether those decisions were made with good judgement or sheer luck you have benefited.Your life is one to be celebrated! Remember, Life is a journey not a destination!
