Film introductions by Mario Garett, Professor of Gerontology School of Social Work at San Diego State University.

Coming of Age Film Series: Aging Women in Film

The Museum of Photographic Arts in Balboa Park presents Coming of Age, a film series that focuses on promoting and reinforcing positive images on the subject of aging. Covering topics relating to continued growth, romance/sex, grief, identity and intergenerational issues; the film series strives to provide an inclusive representation of aging and advocate a value system that honors both the individual and the process of aging.
